Our restaurant consists of one large and 2 smaller rooms, one of which is non-smoking. The smaller rooms can also be used as lounges. The restaurant also hosts a permanent exposition of modern Czech and foreign artists and our guests can enjoy a wonderful combination of good quality drinks and excellent food.

Area information

In every season the surrounding hilly area offers a lot of opportunities. In winter you can go cross-country skiing not that far from the hotel and in summer there are numerous cycling or walking trails.

Quick description

Our family hotel is located in one of the Šumava’s valleys in the picturesque village of Hořice na Šumavě, close to Český Krumlov. After a day out you can relax in our garden with a cup of coffee and an apple pie or a glass of beer or wine and enjoy delicious food. There is a beautiful view from the terrace of the hilly surroundings dominated by Kleť mountain (1083 above the sea level), herds of grazing cattle and forests. The hotel is well located – whether you are into sports or culture, both can be enjoyed here or in the immediate surroundings. The garden with the terrace is an ideal place for private events which we are happy to organise for you. The capacity is 30 seats.
