The region of Ostrover is located on the fringe of the western part of the Czech Republic by the German border. There is plenty of opportunity for those seeking active leisure such as hiking paths, natural phenomenon, the highest summit of the Ore Mountains, Klínovec, and middle Europe’s highest located city, Boží Dar. During winter you can enjoy kilometres of cross-country ski tracks and slopes, as well as ski lifts in the mountain centres of historic Abertamy, industrial Pernink and Jáchymov with its radioactive thermal springs.
