On the rugged Northumberland coast, this former chapel has been converted into a charming 200-year-old B&B, offering award-winning 5-star accommodation. St Cuthbert's House keeps its own bees, so guests can enjoy delicious honey as well as jams and marmalade made in a local monastery kitchen. Alongside the buffet table's light breakfast options, free-range eggs and award-winning sausages and bacon from the local butcher are served each morning. Warm bread is freshly delivered from the nearby bakery, and oak-smoked fish is also available. St Cuthbert's House boasts traditionally furnished rooms with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities.
