Hidden in Serra da Lousã mountain, Cerdeira Village - Schist Village offers traditional shale-built units surrounded by a rolling landscape. The property features a 24-hour reception, and Lousã city is 10 km away. Each 2-storey villa at Cerdeira Village - Schist Village is self-catering and combines a typical architecture with modern interiors. They include electric heating, a wood burning stove, and a basket of firewood is provided upon arrival. A selection of regional products is available for an extra charge. Guests wishing to taste the regional cuisine, can head to Lousã and try one of the local specialties, as boar and sausages. Guests are welcome to participate in activities and workshops organised by Cerdeira Village. There is a natural stone pool in the village that uses water from the brook. Guided hiking and outdoor activities like river descents, climbing, rafting, and paraglide can be arranged. The university city of Coimbra is within 40 km from Cerdeira Village - Schist Village.

Please note that the 50% deposit charged on day of booking will be charged on the credit card provided. Cerdeira Village will contact guests with further details. Please note that check-in takes place from 15:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 it will be charged a tax of EUR 10 per each extra hour. A cleaning deposit of EUR 30 per house is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out if the house is clean and with the dishes washed. Bed linen, towels, shampoo, soap, salt, pepper, spices, olive oil, vinegar, sugar and one basket of firewood is provided. If guests need more wood, each additional basket has a cost of EUR 5. A child up to 3 years old can be accommodated in baby cot at an extra charge of EUR 10 per night. A child from 4 to 12 years old can be accommodated at an extra charge of EUR 15 per night. An adult or child over 13 years old can be accommodated at an extra charge of EUR 20 per night. Any extra bed or cot is only available upon prior request and confirmation.
