The Thorpeness Hotel includes 2 bars serving light meals and a selection of drinks throughout the day. A range of award-winning beers and wines are available. The surrounding area is famous for its music, poetry and literary festivals. Tennis at Thorpeness Country Club is available for free most of the year.

For bed and breakfast guests golf is subject to availability, charged at the current green fee rate. A Handicap certificate issued by the guests own golf club is required to play.
