Quick description

The Raven Hotel is set in the heart of the historic town of Much Wenlock. The 17th century coaching inn boasts a fine dining restaurant with 2 AA Rosettes, which serves a range of delicious dishes. All rooms at The Raven are individually styled with en suite bathrooms, and offer free Wi-Fi internet access along with a flat-screen TV/DVD player and Freeview channels. The Raven Hotel now incorporates the 17th century inn, ancient almshouses, historic granary barns and Much Wenlock's original forge, creating a truly unique hotel. Free private parking is available to guests in the hotel car park. Much Wenlock dates back to Roman times and has the famous 12th and 13th century Wenlock Priory, featured in the John Cleese film Clockwise, within a short walk of the hotel. The historic town boasts an eclectic selection of friendly, independent shops including booksellers, clothes shops, art galleries and an award-winning butchers.
